Something has come up and I need to go out of town next week but I have a few auctions running that won't end until Tuesday.
Ebay says you cannot change the listing duration on listings that have been active for more than 2 hours so I thought I would have to end the listings but I was able to change them from 7 day to 5 day tonight.
Now they will end on Sunday which works better for me but I have question. I have a lot of watchers on these listings, I have no doubt most of the items will sell since they are highly sought after items. I intentionally set the starting price high to weed out the stupid questions from bottom feeders. I am sure some of the watchers are people sitting on a snipe.
Hence the question, since I changed the duration from 7 day to 5 day, are the snipe engines smart enough to update the listing end time and get the snipe in Sunday?

That's a good question.
You could contact e-snipe and some others and see what they say.
If they don't update, you may want to end them so you don't miss a bidding war at the end.

I wrote esnipe and this was their response "Unfortunately, when a seller ends his auctions early or changes the end date any eSnipe bids entered on those auctions become voided. The bidder would need to catch this and re-enter their bid for it to become valid again."
Oh well, no big deal. I did not need to add ebay packing to the list of things I need to do before I leave.
