I have these old figurines from elderly friends parents. I have several questions:
What would I call them?
Are they worth selling?
Could they be metal covered with china?
They are only about 2 1/2" long, but they remind me of the old piano dolls that used to sit on top of the piano in Victorian times. One has a broken foot, and it almost looks like metal inside. They are quite heavy for their size. Not high quality.

Piano babies was my first thought. They're cute. Are they black rather than caucasian? May be cross-collectible.

Thanks Roadsmith, yes, they are black I am sure. Were piano babies every that small? 2 1/2 inches long means they would hardly even be seen.

Hi Toni, thanks, I have tried Google and eBay, the problem is, when I try to find Black piano babies, all I get is black baby grand pianos!

They do look like piano babies but I believe piano babies were all bisque.
Maybe you could contact this site - she said she's been collecting for 10 years so maybe she knows what these are.
