I eBay you can pay a charge $0.10 to specify a a specific start date and time. Does anyone know if there a way that can be done through Vendio.

Thank you for and help on this.

I see you're a "newbie" to Vendio. I can only answer for the "old" program. Yes, we've been able to set start times forever, and they're free.

Yes, you can set times. Once you have your listing done, go to the bottom of the page and you will see "Schedule" and next to that you can put the date and the time you want. then click on Schedule. It goes according to CA time

Thank you !!!

I'm definitely a newbie (a couple of days with Vendio so far), but support from folks like you appear that I'm making the right choice. I'd like to get into this very actively as soon as I can get all the screens and settings figured out. I have a garage full of new Baldwin Brass I would like to sell for my Friend who just sold his hardware store and this seems like the best tool for the job.

Thanks again.

Hello Olliesshop,

Please be aware that you are using the new version of our services, so the instructions are a bit different (but similar). At the bottom of the "Create Items" page you will first need to click the plus sign to the left of "eBay Info" (in order to expand that section). Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and select the "Launch single listing" option. Then select the "Launch" option and select the date and time for the launch (the listing will then launch when you save).

Regards,
Nathan

Tim: Some of us oldtimers in Vendio are SO sold on Vendio that it's worth a bit of extra cost. I've been with them for at least 11 or 12 years now. I hadn't heard, either, that you had to PAY eBay for the "privilege" of setting a start date and time. I wonder if that's a new feature.

Nope, eBay has charged for setting start date and time for a long time, that is one of the reasons I stay with Vendio. I have been with Vendio since it was AuctionWatch, at least 11 years, great company. I hope they don't make us oldtimers learn the new program, I am really happy with the 'old' program.

I'm with pmeicher on this too! I've been on Vendio for about 10 years and am used to the "old" ways...please don't make us learn a new system!

as a mac user, I list my general auctions with GarageSale now. It hosts 10 images per auction for free and I can schedule the listings any time I want for free as well. I paid $35 for the program and have no monthly fees.

For inventory and store items I still use Vendio.
