I just moved an item from fixed price to auction and noticed that there was no pricing for scheduling. I schedule it and it doesn't appear to have been a fee for this.

Anyone else know for sure???

If scheduling is free I will rethink paying Vendio (although I am a long time user and love the ease of using it), now that pictures are free for most of what I sell.

It still shows 10 cents per listing on the fee schedule. That would be a great move on eBay's part if they offered free scheduling. It doesn't cost them anything to offer it, since it has already been part of their system for a very long time. We'll likely see that happen when there is a rate hike (to compensate for lost revenue).

Truly, that was the only thing I considered when deciding to end my vendio subscriptions. I still ended up canceling because I can easily schedule launching new items with GarageSale for Mac.

Once an auction ends, I usually just put it as fixed price... timing isn't so important for fixed pricing.

Sooner the seller and Ebay get their money, the better.

I did a listing directly with ebay today and it still charged me 10 cent to schedule it.

I wish I was smart enough to figure out when to schedule listings. It used to be auction listings were most visible just before closing, fixed price were most visible just after listing. Now it's all screwed up. The sales faucet turns on and whimsically turns off. I can't figure out the pattern. Edited to add: I use Vendio's scheduling feature solely to review and catch duplicate listings that Vendio's hiccups have created.

Hello pixiamom,
I use Vendio's scheduling feature solely to review and catch duplicate listings that Vendio's hiccups have created.

We would like to know more about this issue and if there's anything we can do to help you avoid it in the future. If you haven't already please post some detailed information about it in the services forum for us to address for you.

Regards,
Chris

What you can do is to list it to launch at a later time ,since no fee is charged until it is actually launched, you can go back say 20 minutes before the launching time and change it to launch immediately,to save yourself 10 cents.
Say I want to start an item at 8:30 pm to night,I will list it now and specify launch time of 9:00 pm.
somewhere between 8:15 to 8:45 pm,I will go and change it to launch immediately.
