Hi

Any ideas on how to get each listing to show separate shipping costs for US, international AND Canada? While it does list separate prices in the text description, the important thing - the actual ebay pull down - groups Canada with international. Thus, all my Canada buyers see inflated shipping prices...?

Hello,

In order to do this you will first need to move the Canada shipping charge from the domestic shipping section of the listing form to the international shipping section of the listing form. Then click the "Default=Item's Ship-To Loc." link that is to the left of the Canada shipping option, and uncheck every box except for "Canada". For your other international shipping option, do the same thing except check every box except for Canada, Worldwide, and N. and S. America. Should you continue to have trouble, please provide a listing number or name of a pending listing that has the problem, so that we can take a closer look.

Regards,
Nathan

Hello,

The default return policy for your future new listings may be set by going to "My Account" --> "eBay" (below "Site Specifics" ) --> then scroll down to the bottom of the page and fill in the "eBay Return Policy details" section. For relists, or existing pending listings, you will need to edit the "eBay Return Policy details" section of the Vendio listing form (located just above the "Shipping Carriers" section).

Nathan

Hi

Still having probs with the shipping. I have taken Canada from the domestic shipping section and put it in the international, under Canada with a separate fee. I also unchecked Canada from the international locations. Listing still groups it together as "international" shipping. So shipping to bolivia is the same as canada.

I have an item "VINTAGE A-2 GOATSKIN Leather Jacket Flight Air Force 36"

set to go live Jun 1, 2010 @ 5:07 PM

This will suffer the same problem

Hello,

I have created an item in your pending section for you to review how this should be setup to properly charge shipping for Canada Vs your other international locations.

Moving Canada into the list of international locations was correct, the only part you were missing was clicking that link to the left of the carrier to set who can pick that international option. The default is to allow anyone international to pick one of the international carriers, but when you click to edit that you can pick any specific location like Canada. You will see this in the sample item I placed into your pending list.

Chris

Thanks Chris

I took a look at the listing you made though, and it seems the same as mine?

Indeed under the eBay Shipping and Payment Details header, the only international shipping registered is Canada - (no worldwide)

Int'l Carriers:
Other(CA) $12.00, Add'l $6.00

So all my auctions go through with 12 dollars international shipping!

I use the old platform. I ship both domestically, and internationally. Currently, my settings are set (checked) -

Domestic
First Class (calculated)
Priority Mail (calculated)

International
Worldwide - First Class Mail International(c alculated)
Worldwide - Priority Mail International (calculated)

If you want to use Flat Rate Priority Mail International you will have to set the following -

International
Worldwide - First Class International (calculated)
Canada - Priority Mail International (fixed) - $11.45 (+ your handling fees)
Worldwide - Priority Mail International (fixed) - $13.45 (+ your handling fees)

Flat Rate Priority Mail International is limited to five items, with no delivery confirmation.

I think the system must be bugged. No joy. Canada will always be the price set for ALL internationals, even though a separate service is marked for the rest of the world

Hello,

This is how your shipping is setup currently:

Simply writing the word "Canada" doesn't make it where only your Canadian buyers can select it, it just means it will be labeled this way in checkout. In the 'ship to locations' column on the left you can click and set a specific location rather than leaving it set to the default - which is all your international ship-to locations.

This is how my sample in your account is setup, which is what your looking to do currently:

It took me quite a few tries to get it right. Here's what my shipping form looks like:

This is how my shipping is and has always been (from what i see on my computer at least)

I have never simply written Canada in the service box. It has always been checked on the left. Just as international has been - with each other location ticked.

With this setup i just put through a test listing and still canada comes through as the same shipping as the rest of the world... :S

You need to select a shipping carrier from the drop-down box for each checked location for it to work correctly.

I tried selecting a carrier (we don't ship UPS, we ship canada post)

Just came through as blank

vendio seems to really not like Canadian sellers

Hello,

I think were getting somewhere now.
You mentioned setting it up as shown above, but said that when you listed it with it setup like above it didn't post correcty - what is the item number where this happened?

Also, that last screenshot you show is from Sales Manager Pro - the old offline stripped down listing tool for the Sales Manager - it does *not* have those options in it, so you wouldn't have been able to set it like is shown above and would have ended up with a carrier available to anyone to select.

Be sure your listing from the regular full featured online Sales Manager where you can actually set those Canada specific options when you need to list an item this way, as Sales Manager Pro does not have a provision to set it up as shown above so the items won't list that way.

Chris

So you're saying i cannot do separate Canada shipping through Seller manager pro desktop software? I have latest version - 7.0...

Hello,

That is correct, you cannot define a Canada specific shipping carrier option from Sales Manager Pro, the way we showed you above where you click on that link and then pick the locations where that carrier option would be limited to.

okay thanks. I didn't realize sales manager pro wasn't compatible with multiple international shipping options.

One other thing - is it possible to upload a custom label with my item through sales manager pro?

Hello,

The international shipping options and SMPRO can become problematic when using fixed shipping rates, where you need to define who 'can't' pick a certain shipping option, so you don't offer everyone in an international location the same available fixed price rates.

For the custom labels, are you referring to labeling the shipping methods themselves? You can do this from SMRPRO the same as the online Sales Manager - where you just need to pick one of the blank shipping carrier options like your doing now and entering your own verbage. Note however that when you do this it only shows this way in your item description and in Vendio checkout - the eBay display doesn't show custom values for the blank shipping options, they simply see them as standard undefined shipping methods.

Chris
