I've been poking around a kinda-new site called Yardsellr. Heard of it?
(And what is it with 21st century company names omitting vowels? Or should that be "mttng vwls"? Anyway, I dgrss. Digress.)
Yardsellr, as I understand it, is trying to combine shopping with social media. I think, but don't quote me, that the idea is you'll feel safer buying from someone who's in a social network like Facebook. Or is a friend of a friend of a friend. Sort of a "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon."
There's all kinds of stuff offered. Everything's fixed price. There are no fees to list. The user interface is pure Playskool (everything's big, rounded and brightly colored), but maybe you'll like that.
This guy is currently ranked #1 seller, if I understand it correctly.
