Hi everyone... bjboswell here. Vendio does not support Ruby Lane so I dropped my Vendio account. BUT found that I really missed the wealth of knowledge this group of sellers has provided to me over the years. I missed you almost one and all

Question. I have a very expensive Victorian oil lamp that a lady in Iran wants to buy. Have any of you had ANY experience shipping to this nation, positive or negative? USPS does support delivery to Iran, but I am hesitating.

news flash! After 3 hours on the phone with the US treasury dept. Fed Ex and UPS I have been told that Iran is on an embargo list and you can't ship ANYTHING to them.
Sure wish someone in Indiana wanted the lamp

So how does USPS get away with it?

OT - I just found out that Greyhound Express doesn't deliver to New Mexico. That's weird.

EBABE
are you saying that you have shipped to Iran with the USPS?
Fed Ex was the one that told me no it's an embargoed nation.
HWA I have asked if we can ship to another nation.

Do you really need to sell to someone in Iran? I would be wary of a transaction with someone in Iran, since U-PIC will not insure.

They are very liberal. There must be some reason why U=PIC will not insure shipments to Iran.
