I have a buyer who used buy it now to close a listing. She then emailed me 10 minutes later requesting to cancel the transaction. So, I send her a cancellation request and a follow up email. It has been 3 days now and she has ignored the cancellation request and my email. I believe the request is open for 7 days.
I have eBay's auto dispute set up at 4 days for this account. If I have a cancellation request open, will eBay still open a dispute on this item on the 4th day?
I am guessing that her initial email via ebay messaging doesn't count as contact to a dispute either, so that basically starts the clock over.
Yesterday I went as far as to even send her another invoice with a nice message stating that I sent her a cancellation request, but she had not completed it. I also asked her to complete the request or make payment using the invoice in hopes she would move on this. Still nothing.
