OMG! I think my auctions have become invisible - must be 'cause no one is looking at my great items and there sure is no one bidding. Time for a vacation!

Sadly, it's getting to the point where if someone wins your great items, they can't be sure of getting them before Christmas.
I think there will be a lot of unhappy eBay shoppers this year who didn't realize the cheap widget they ordered is coming from China and won't get here any time soon. I see Chinese sellers quoting three and four week shipping times.
I'm making daily sales on Amazon of my Fulfilled-by-Amazon items. I think shoppers feel more confident on the river. Plus they know it's domestic shipping, not slow boat.

sales are pretty busy still here. probably depends on the types of items and how well versed your buyers usually are. it's also a good time to be a buyer, good deals out there right now. just dont be stupid and buy from someone that obviously drop ships their stuff or lists their location as outside of the US.
smart eBay buyers are out there, and do understand how to buy from places within X number of miles of their home.

I may do some shopping on ebay myself tomorrow. It too darn cold in Florida to go out. I'll have a fire in my fireplace and my Christmas tree on to get me in the mood - may even play some Christmas music!!

eBay has rolled over to chinese imports. sign of the times.
my sales have been brisk, i just wish i was better prepared for the holiday sales season this year. we moved our store and it has been the central focus lately... and sales there have been so slow. i wish we just closed our retail location, moved into an antique mall and didn't bother with managing a store. i spend more time waiting for customers. i'd rather be doing something else.

I do think people are tired of auctions. I have listed identical items in auction format on my other ID and Fixed price in my store. Most times the item in the store sells and many times at a higher price. The auctions just sit there and never get bid on.
