Just do what everyone else will do - relist the items (junk) that did not sell the last 5 times they had a free listing day.
Darn I was thinking of buying some Christmas gifts on ebay this year but it maybe faster to go to the mall. lol

I still think these deals are aimed at some big time volume sellers that were wooed by eBay. The sales projected by eB are off the mark. Can you imagine the what the listing fees or FVF might be on 5000 items? Or how unhappy a seller of that volume might be if the expectation was 50-60% sell through or more and the actual is way less?

Those high volume sellers will have to have the resources to list 5000 items at a moment notice,if they have 7 days duration, then it would have to be changed to 1,3,5 days.
And these sellers are probably wholesalers/liquidators or retailers of low priced items, their merchandise is common and you can find them in dollar stores or on Ebay .
It is cheap thrill, list 5000 and sell a few hundred.
Amazon is doing well,Ebay is green with envy, but AMZN sells staples not collectibles,

IMHO, I do not think most high volumn sellers use the auction format. They list multiple items that would be more suited to store listings where you can make one ad and have 100s for sale under that one listing.
Ebay should just say unlimited free listings.
Remember when we would wait for that one FLD after Christmas?
