This month's Internet Retailer Magazine had one very interesting bit of information that I was not aware of -
"Some 30% of consumers, nearly a third, are using Amazon.com to begin their search for items and for product search, according to Forrester Research, Inc. ..." p 28
"By comparison, though 24% of shoppers began their research on Google in 2009, that fell to 13% in the 2011 survey." p 28
Apparently Google no longer holds any command of product searches.
I wonder what that will mean for eBay sales in the future?

I think a person who uses a google or amzn search is looking for new item such as new book, new laptop, new iphone, new wallpaper, new bedspread, new clothes.
I recently searched and bought a SONY blue ray player and an Insignia TV with built in WIFI on Bestbuy,I did not bother to search Ebay.
Since I will be using the two devices together,I want to buy them from one store and I dont want to hear new is like new, slightly used or no return and I want the seller to be around when warranty kicks in and free shipping and earning rewards points are always welcome.
However when my old keyboard broke down,I managed to find a new one exactly like mine on Ebay.(mine must be 10 years old)
