We are considering getting back into selling new items. We put our toe in the water a few years ago and did well, though most of those items we acquired were below wholesale prices from the companies.

We have never once applied for credit for our business- it was started with our own money and we just kept rolling it over.

I just contacted a company that we know we can build upon. They sent us a price list and a credit app. I don't think they need the app if we are just buying outright... but was curious how many people buy merchandise on credit (not a credit card) and what their experience has been?

If you buy from a domestic wholesaler,it is usually 30 days net.
But I have come across one wholesaler which offers credit ,I dont remember what they charged, but it is kind of reasonable.
I did business with them once and paid within 30 days,so no need for credit.
Those Dell,HP of the world provide vendor financing at favorable term,if you are looking into selling their products.
