I am getting this odd message while I am researching items. I am using Firefox. The drop down box reads:

AUTHENTICATION REQUIRED

A username and password are being requested by http://thumbs3.ebaystatic.com. "FE Build-A-Pool PROD Auth"

Then it asks for id and password. I have never seen this before. I did a google search for it and couldn't find anything. It only happens on eBay.

I googled it and found all kinds of threads on it - don't have time to read them now but I searched: "fe build-a-pool prod auth ebay", maybe you can find an answer

I most definitely didn't sign on. I closed my Firefox down and reopened it. It kept coming back. Then I restarted my computer. It kept coming back. So, finally I posted here. Then about 10 minutes later it quit doing it and hasn't since.
