A potential bidder emails a question on my listing.
I reply and answer the question
PB emails back to thank me
I get a big red bar on that listing, reminding me that I have a question on it. Also a 1 shows up in my messages.
Now I have to answer the thank you to clear the red bar and 1 on my messages. PITA

From your "My Ebay" page you can find the item, click on the "Mark Question As Answered" in the drop down list on the right and don't bother replying.
