Just found it. They made it more difficult.
(Big surprise.)
On the left is a link that says "More refinements". Clicking that brings up a pop up window for refinements. The last refinement on the left of the window says "Show only" and that has a "completed listings" option. Very convoluted and not user friendly (IMO).

For about a week it was at the top of the page - just above the listings. I liked it there but it didn't stay.

Ebay is getting too big,we can only search past 15 days, used to be 30 days.
Ebay is not obliged to show us the completed listings, may be someone should start a business of buying those listings from Ebay and allow us to use for research.

I do not see a link that says more refinements. I'm using firefox and maybe that has something to do with it. Anyone have any suggestions? I can go back and forth from the advanced search page but that is extremely clunky.
And what kind of idiots design and redesign these pages?

I too have encountered a few different page layouts in the last few days. I have scrolled to the bottom of each one and clicked on "tell us what you think" and told them what I thought! It was not pretty, either!
But the format today takes the cake! I now have to click on "buying formats" on the left hand side of the page, then click on "choose more", then click on the "completed listings" in the box that comes up.
To top that off, when I wish to return to active listings, I have to go through that whole thing again and unclick the "completed listings" box.

I have firefox and can get it just fine.
I don't know why ebay is making it so hard to find.

I went through the "buying formats" as minniestuff suggested and it put "completed" and "sold" right back at the top. Looks just like it did two days ago. Thanksminniestuff!!

Looks like they took away the "completed" and "sold" from the top again, and put it back under buying formats.
Geez....

My sold/completed is still at the top but this is two days after your last entry so who knows.

My search for completed auctions is still at the top of the page. What is gone, at least I can't find it, is searching for completed sales by a particular seller.
As far as searching back farther than ebay's two weeks, I use Terapeak. With that service, I can search back up to a year. They even have a smartphone app. I don't go to an auction, thrift store or estate sale without it. It's not cheap, but I've found that it pays for itself in a short period of time.

Hello,
I just wanted to provide a link to a recent EcommerceBytes (formerly AuctionBytes) blog post that I think will help explain what is happening:
