I can't seem to get the catalogue to work when using Vendio. I either put in the bar code number or I select choose to keyword search, and I still can't get it to show anything.

Hello,

Could you please let us know which eBay category you are listing in, as well as the information that you are using for the catalog match, so that we can take a look?

Regards,
Nathan

Okay, I admit I'm clueless here. What is the Ebay catalogue? (And where have I been, huh.)

Hello,

Take a look at the pending listing in your account and scroll down to the "Custom Item Specifics" section of the Vendio listing form. There is a green button labeled "eBay Catalogue Information". If you click that button then you can search for your item by UPC, ISBN, or keyword. If the item is in eBay's catalogue then you can select it and pre-fill your listing information with what eBay has on file for the item. In some categories eBay requires that you list this way now.

Regards,
Nathan

Okay...here's an example

UPC code is 010343869837

The item is a box of 5 Epson color inkjet cartridges. I couldn't get the catalogue by using either the UPC or keyword search. This is just an example. I have tried several items with no success.

Hello,

Could you please also let us know which eBay category you are listing to (either the eBay category number, the eBay category tree, or just the name of the pending listing that has the eBay category selected), as well as the keywords that you are entering for the keyword search?

Regards,
Nathan

Hello,

I started the process of creating a new listing in your account using the following eBay category:

Computers/Tablets & Networking > Printers, Scanners & Supplies > Ink, Toner & Paper > Ink Cartridges

Then I clicked the green "eBay Catalogue Information" in the Vendio listing form, entered the UPC "010343869837" and clicked "Search Product". An eBay catalogue item came up for me without any problem. What exactly do you see after following these steps and clicking "Search Product"?

Regards,
Nathan

Hello,

I checked eBay and the category that this item is listed to (Toys & Hobbies>TV, Movie & Character Toys>Muppets, Sesame Street) isn't currently enabled to use the Catalog Match system in eBay unfortunately.

Regards,
Chris
