I sold and shipped an item that I have been selling for months. The recipient paid quite a bit of money (almost as much in shipping as the item was). Now she emails me and claims the item is not 7.5", but rather 7 inches. Unfortunately, I have run out of stock, so I cannot confirm her claim, but I am very certain that I correctly measured these items.
In my haste to respond quickly, I told her to email me her email address and I will send a return label. I didn't realize she was in Canada until later. I'm not going to issue (I don't even know if I can) a return label from Canada until I figure out if she is telling the truth.
I emailed her back and asked if she would send a photo of the item with a measuring tape showing it is 7" as she states. I am really irritated by this, and I guess I just want to vent. I await her reply... which I can't wait to see what she says.
I think she may have buyers remorse because she paid over $50 for something that isn't worth that much because she had to pay so much for shipping. I have sold about 20 of these items, and nobody else has complained.

This is the main reason I always say approximately 7 1/2 inches.
Is it something that 1/2 inch would matter either way?

If you are referring to the Ebay return label,I think it is only for domestic shipping.
Once I have to return an item to Puerto Rico and Ebay said Puerto Rico is excluded.
So if PR is excluded,I doubt if you can print a return label for Canada via Ebay return label.
