Got hit with low compliance again because I was selling a magazine ad for a pellet gun. Which according to Ebay violates their firearm policy. Called eBay India and after being disconnected twice during the transfer to an "Account Specialist" I got through on my third call and was told the they were filing a appeal on my behalf. This is the same thing they told another seller last week and they have not heard squat from eBay. I know of 5 other ebay sellers, 3 including myself are on low compliance and one just got a 7 day suspension. All have been selling on eBay for a very long time. Is there a pattern here? My customers love me Ebay hates me.

I don't think the eBay computer system is set to screen all listings for forbidden objects. Someone filed a complaint more than likely a competing seller or customer who thinks he/she got screwed by you. The CS person in India may not the difference between a pellet gun ad and a Buick and just sees the word GUN figures issuing a non compliance order is easier than investigating the compliant. Good luck!

eBay India? was this ad listed there or in the USA? If USA, I have never had a CSR from India, or if I did, they surely didn't sound like it.
