Do yourself a favor and add this buyer to your list. It appears that they have a history of dissatisfaction, including leaving tons of negative feedbacks for sellers.

I sold them some old new stock furniture legs I had purchased from an upholstery wholesaler that went out of business last year. I bought different legs in huge quantities. Some legs were 10-20 years old, but never used.

I listed them and this is the first buyer who has complained. Their email suggests the legs were used and wanted to return them.

I sent them a polite email first acknowledging the return request with return instructions, then added that I can assure them that these are old new stock and sold dozens of them.

After reviewing their buying history I see TONS of dissatisfied negative feedbacks they left for other sellers. I'm glad I didn't give any resistance on this, but after seeing their feedback history left for others I had to add them to my list.

I will add, I understand having issues with sellers occasionally. It happens, but I also think some buyers go out of their way to be difficult buyers.

Since December 2012 they have left feedback for 4 sellers including 2 negatives. Before that they left 7 negatives on 16 transactions. Just seems to risky to make this buyer happy.

What a name!
At least he is not asking for partial refund.
Tnere used to be a buyer who will buy shoes and then said they are in such bad shape, the heels broke as soon as she tried it on and she then presented you with a shoe repair bill asking you to pay for the repair.
It turns out she used the same repair bill on every seller!

Sounds like we should have enough material for a new book titled "A 1000 ways customers rip off eBay sellers."
Only kidding Folks but it might sell well!

Ebay does not allow you to reject a bidder, you MUST accept high bidder, regardless of the feedback history. I think ebay should allow you to refuse one or two high bidders a month if you don't like the looks of their feedback. Should sellers also have the right to "express themselves" like buyers?

drjack - you can block bidders from your listings.

http://ocsnext.ebay.com/ocs/sr

I have used my block list for years. I had a bidder who even tried to circumvent my block list by creating another (yet similar) user id.

They had purchased an item from me for about $750. Then they insisted I ship it to an unconfirmed address because they were living in London and was remodeling a house on the East Coast. I told them I couldn't do that unless the address was approved and someone was signing for it. They kept insisting, and I kept refusing. I offered to close the transaction which they accepted.

I quickly added them to my block user list. Then relisted the item. Within a few days they had made "new" offers (for less than their original $750 offer that were auto rejected. I added that user id to the block list as well.

I think drjackk understands blocking this bidder but what he says makes sense to me for bidders you have not blocked.
On an auction you have no chance to check FB left until it's all over, in most cases.
Say you check the high bidders FB left and see this kind of pattern and want to get out of the transaction. Ebay should allow it once or twice a month. Of course, they would still want to charge the FVF. After all they are still ebay.
