Does anyone have two eBay Stores? How do I begin to do so? What concerns should I have?

The new store would be started from scratch with 0 feedback and will have two - three thousand items in stamp category. Plus I would be adding additional items to my Charity Seal Literature Store.

I currently have Vendio and Auctiva available (haven't used either in a long time) and TurboLister (currently use).

I forgot to add that the new store would have a different name, but the Logo and brand would be same as the first store.

Any ideas, or opinions?

Why 2 stores? They offer different promos to store owners & nonstore owners.

I think it would make more sense to have 2 ebay ids. One with a store, one without.

Currently many nonstore owners have a promo for free listings (400,000).

Last week nonstore owners were offered free FP.

So, it seems to make sense to have both if you are going to have 2 IDs.

Imho

I did, but gave up the 2nd about 18 months ago. There is nothing to it, except that you may have issues registering payments for both accounts. I'm not sure where Paypal is on two ids for one PP account any longer. That would be the best so that you don't have to truly start fresh with the probationary period.

One thing that you may find useful is to refer to your other account for a "reference" so that eBay buyers know you are trusted. I did this for a few months under the new ID, until I built enough feedback for it to hold its own.

I use the Premium Store template in GS, which is only available for Mac. I really like the layout and its functionality, but if you want to manage inventory, that is not the best choice.

If you are going to have thousand of items on Ebay, would it be cheaper to have just one store?
To be honest, stores on Ebay dont mean much, neither is a store on AMZN,only YAhoo shopping and Etsy, you get the feeling you are in someone's store and it is quiet and private, you dont have things waving in your face and warnings like report this item, report this seller, qualify for ebay protection.

I currently have two IDs on eBay. One is used for buying, which is why I want to start a new ID. The buying ID has its own PayPal account.

I spoke with eBay CS this afternoon. CS told me that I could hook the new ID to my PayPal account without any problem. CS also mentioned that I could couple my current eBay ID with my new ID, so that there would be minimum problems with any restrictions.

I have learned that the Charity Seal buyer and the topical or foreign stamp buyer function in separate worlds. I see less clutter and confusion with two separate stores.

Further, I have learned that many eBay buyers will only buy on eBay. I have tried enticing eBay buyer's with 10% off coupons - no luck.

I have tried to place small shops on eBay, BidStart, and eBid. My thought being that since many of those buyers only buy on those shops, that I would come to them.

How much does it cost to have an Ebay store with a few thousand low price items?
