Seems that June has been a bust. I can't remember the last time sales were this slow. I've sold half the totals I have done in recent months. Some items that I sell 3-10 a week haven't sold at all.

Obviously, vacation started... but this is ridiculous.

I wonder how much this has to do with added listings with the free listings offers? The month started out fine - and then promptly died mid-month.

first few months of this year my sales come from dealers restocking, then it just slowed down ,there is more to slow sales than summer or kids out of school.
Walmart,Target,Sears and JCPenny all guided lower sales forecase last quarter,in another week they wil be reporting second quarter earnings,we shall see.
Dollar General likewise said customers are not buying the higher margin blenders and clothes, just the basic staples.
The last time I was at 99cents only store,I see so many people shopping for produce and canned good and cookies etc.
Go to some of those blogs and read -so many people lost their jobs and many are low skill, low pay jobs and they have not found jobs .
Last week someone interviewed ADP Ceo and he said new job openings are for 20k,you dont see too many 50k jobs .
No wonder we dont get sales, you cant eat collectibles !

June hasn't been bad for me but April & May were really bad.

I walked around our studio today after clearing out a bunch of junk. We are having a G-Sale this weekend.

I have to admit that our normal stock of quality vintage is down, but at the same time many of the new items that are regular sellers are dead right now.

I've shipped one package all week, ironically to someone that lives about a mile from us. That's how quiet its been, but that is ok if it doesn't last too much longer. We needed some down time to do other things.

I had a little flurry of buying, but no one seems in a hurry to PAY!

June wasn't too bad. Same as a year ago. I would be more impressed with an increase in sales year to year. I'm just suffering from a case of the summer blah. Like everyone else I'd rather be outside then in. Figured since I can't feed myself selling on ebay I better have a huge garden LOL

Since June was the rainest month ever here in Nj & PA. I would love to be outside, but the sun is nowhere to be seen & floods are everwhere. Sigh...
