Just a heads up here...watch your Seller accounts
I revised a listing earlier this evening as I had spotted an spelling error in my description.

Just as I clicked 'Submit' I noticed that there was a charge of 10cents. I immediately checked my Seller account and lo and behold those sneaky people had just added a charge of 10cents for a revision.

I called eBay and got a very nice lady and told her that even if I had been doing a listing it would have been 'free' as this is only the 2nd of the Month and I have 497 Free listings to go!

She checked and agreed with me that it was a problem and immediately processed a Credit and said she would pass on the info about the error.
The credit appeared immediately.

Thanks for the heads up. I think I need to go check my account. They should never charge to revise a listing unless you add a BIN or something like that.

I have changed categories to qualify for Global Shipping on items. If the item is in collectibles, you get free enhanced Gallery. If you move it to another category you will get charged $1.00 for enhanced Gallery.

The thing is that I can check it off on the first page while editing, and then it appears again on the 2nd page. If you miss it there, you will be charged.

I have discovered numerous errors when editing eBay listings. If I adjust prices, sometimes it will remove the Make An Offer auto settings, sometimes not.

If I select several listings to edit in bulk, but adjust the prices and make an offer auto accept prices, sometimes eBay will ignore those and list it as just a fixed price.

If you run a sale on fixed price with auto accept amounts, it will remove the auto accepts amounts when the sale ends.

As I have said many times, I wish eBay would focus on fixing the bugs instead of finding creative ways to overcharge sellers for their service.

And what about 'ask a question',you have to type in some strange letters ,you would think they know how to get around the problem by now?

All I did was change two letters in a word that I had transposed when first writing the description and I hadn't noticed when previewing.
Those were in the description that is within my template and I touched nothing to do with any eBay services.

Just keep a close watch on anything and everything!
