Yesterday I'm at an inside flea market. Just walking around looking at things. Walking past a booth filled with jewelry and really nice antiques. As I'm going past I hear the booth owner say to another lady, "I don't know what I'm going to do. I have to be on a plane tomorrow and I don't want to take this stuff with me. I wish someone would at least buy the jewelry." Bingo!! I walk over and take a good look and ask her to give me a price on the entire booth of items. She looks at me like I'm nuts but I insist. She gives me a price considerably lower than I would have paid and I say, "Done!!" I grabbed my husband and instructed him to start packing. I run to the bank get the cash and we all lived happily ever after. When we went I said that we were not going to buy a lot. I guess this is the reason my husband looks at me like I'm nuts when I say, "Don't buy a lot."!! But he knows I will at least double my money and that's what it's all about.

Great! I have run into my greatest deals when I really was not looking to buy . I have went money in hand (auctions, flea markets, estate sales , etc.) and found nothing.

Who knew? I was just wandering around. Just happened to be at the right place at the right time. And my husband knows if I say it's good inventory, it's good inventory. He just steps up and starts packing and loading. He's my partner in the business and a good one at that.

Love it! I just scored at a Goodwill, a folding magazine rack that sells for about $125. I also found an piece of table art that will sell for $50-100 on eBay. Paid $5 for the magazine rack and $4 for the owl.

Selling like crazy. The antiques are sold and paid for the entire booth already. All the jewelry is profit and I have sold $400.00 worth already.
