eBay has made a point of sellers offering free shipping which I do and when I accept offers I consider the shipping location and my cost of shipping it to get there. If a buyer changes their address after I accept the offer, I should be able to void the transaction or at least alter it.
For example - I shipped a Danish dinner plate to someone in Portland. Though it weighed 4 pounds packed, it cost me less than $6 via USPS Priority Mail. If I ship it to Florida that may cost me as much as $15 via Fed Ex. If the offer is $25 and I accept it based on $6 shipping, why should I be on the hook for a change of address to the East Coast that I end up losing money on after my costs?
Would eBay consider removing negative feedback if the buyer changed the terms after the transaction? I doubt it.
I suppose this is another cause for eBay to consider me a defect though.

I've never had it happen, but living in Florida I totally understand what you are saying.
You took the offer based on the zip code.
I'd call ebay on that one.

why cant you send USPS priority to Florida?
instead of Fed Exp??
I dont understand why Ebay keeps coming up with ideas for sellers to make no money?
Say you have a shop in a shopping mall, and the mall operator constantly come and suggest ideas like MARK the price down,it is too high, free return, free shipping, and take money out of your cash register and give it back to your buyer??
And wonder why you are always late paying rent???

well, did you read Fed Exp is going to add fuel charge for ground delivery?
The last time I was in a Fed Exp office, they want to charge me for paper used in stuffing ,I just picked up the paper lying around on the floor, and use it instead,it is clean, and it is free?
It is a shame our margin is so thin on Ebay, some of the professional gold coin dealers said they cant afford registered mail plus insurance and priority,so they do the best they can-ship first class mail with insurance and signature confirmation.
