1. You can no longer turn off unpaid item assistance on one item. If you give a buyer extra time to pay and forget to reset your UIA, they get reported anyway. That's great customer service.
2. When you try to scroll up a page, there is always an ad right there. If you click too much to the left - you are on a whole new page. Just what we need - buyers leaving ebay.
3. Issues with showing free shipping on mobile apps when it's not offered.
4. Defaults back to what they want it to on new listings. You have be sure to change anything that is different.
5. Charging a FVF on shipping (I'll never get over this one) and then not refunding it if you refund the buyer's payment for any reason.
6. Allowing buyers to scam sellers all the time. I'm lucky on this one (so far).
7. New picture enlargement doesn't work half the time.
I guess I could go on & on as I'm a little more than upset at ebay right now.

8) Enhanced Gallery Images are $1 in many categories while free in Collectibles. If you change your category form Collectibles to one of those categories you can turn off the Enhanced Gallery Image Feature (because who in their right mind would pay $1.00 per listing for this feature).
The problem is that it stays on unless you click the check box AGAIN on the second edit page. If you miss that second one you will be charged a $1. Try calling eBay to get that refunded. How much is your time worth?
9) Global Shipping Program is a Defect

10. Charges a fee to end an auction early, with or without a bid. One free one a year isn't enough. If you catch an error that you missed before, you have to pull it if it has a bid. With all the new defect rules you just can't risk leaving it.
I just found something that I sent to auction from BIN that didn't have the dimensions - I know I put them there before but now they are gone. It's big so I had to pull it. Cost me $10 but it would have cost me more in wrong shipping charges.

Ebay lets every one ,anyone sells, the entry barrier is so low.
It makes it hard to make any decent money on Ebay with so many sellers, for as long as I remember,a precious metal/coin dealer also ship registered mail.
Now they are selling on Ebay and they cannot afford registered mail.
Sellers are losing money left and right, whenever a buyer files dispute,Ebay sides with the buyer,it could be a diamond ring,it could be an Iphone or a comic book.
I just read someone won a bra?

My listings did not show after removing the vacation hold. I called eBay and was told it can take up to 48 hours for them to show after removing the vacation hold. It never has worked that way before! Finally I bulk revised them in order to get them to show up - what a pain!

Tracking Uploaded within handling time: 94.59%
Tracking uploaded and validated by carrier: 94.59%
Tracking Uploaded within handling time AND validated by carrier: 91.89%

Again, how is that even possible?

Neglus...we returned last night from a few days away. Several days before we left I put the Store on vacation and as usual clicked the right box to HIDE all my listings. It used to be that the listings would all disappear within 10 minutes. Not this time...they were still showing the next morning.
I checked the eBay Discussion Boards and found many complaints but one person had called and got a good Rep. who told them to Bulk revise but not make any changes. I did that and it worked as all listings went within minutes.
Last night I took the Vacation hold off and before bed I checked and NO listings showing..I did the whole Bulk revise thing again to get my listings to show.
This is such nonsense...I was gearing myself up to list a lot more this Summer but now I wonder if I will???

Shaq, I know what you're talking about. Nothing leaves my home without tracking and my numbers certainly don't reflect that. I check my tracking every day and all items are showing progress, yet my numbers reflect not all have tracking. It's stupid. This is all about money. They are doing everything they can to avoid paying discounts. I don't care about discounts.
I am reminded of Dennis Miller's comment about the government. "I don't mind paying taxes. Just tell me how much, where to send it and then leave me the hell alone."
I feel that way about EB. I will pay my fees then just leave me the hell alone.

If eBay doesn't want to offer discounts to sellers, then why bother with this nonsense?
It is a scheme for them to have sellers work hard to meet eBay's standards to get that 20% discount. Because enough people complained about the DSR system, they started changing that - Free Shipping automatically received 5 stars, Shipping Time automatically received 5 stars if we uploaded our tracking info. Now I have 5 stars in 3 of 4 categories with 100% positive feedback. Now they want to move the goalposts again.
The games are getting old. We often work more to comply with their silly requirements than we do actually listing the items.
UK eBay/Paypal is now requiring 180 day Buyer Protection for INAD. So, now the seller has to warranty items they sell for 1/2 a year??? I'm curious to know if eBay even provides item info after that long. I can't find info on items I sold 4 months ago. Notice that eBay isn't selling their own products and placing these requirements on themselves, they are forcing it on everyone else who uses their site.
I can only imagine this will be the norm in the future in the US. Might as well get ahead of the game and work my way out before the floodgates open and most sellers do the same.

So a buyer now has 180 days to use an item, break it and then claim INAD? That's just crazy.
Where in the name of common sense does it take 180 days to discover that an item is not as described.

I never even knew there was a vacation hold. I have to try to plan when I am going to be gone 3 - 7 days in advance. I will have to investigate that one. Thanks for letting me know! Appreciate that.

Ebay/Paypal defect:
It's been over a year and you still can't print a label for UPS using IE. Now my Chrome is messed up and I can't print a label for UPS at all.

here is the holiday return for top rated sellers-
With the new extended holiday return policy, you give buyers until January 31 to return any item purchased between November 1 and December 31.
You can choose to add a holiday return policy to all or just some of your existing listings and add it when you list. The January 31 return date will be displayed automatically to buyers only during the months of November and December.
The holiday returns option will be available to all sellers in September, in time to update your listings before the peak selling season.
The extended holiday return option will be required for any listing to qualify for Top Rated Plus benefits from November 1 through December 31.

I'm not sure but paypal said it is a UPS issue. UPS doesn't work with IE at all.
I ended up installing Firefox to print the label. I'll worry about Chrome later.
