He just can't stand not being the center of attention. One would think he'd want to let this whole thing go away.
SHE'S PARTLY RESPONSIBLE???? What nerve. It just pissed him off that he didn't have control over her anymore. Control (his bag)....plain and simple.
You're right Bunnicula, but somehow 'scum' just seems much to nice a word to describe this guy.

My guess is because he must see her face during her last moments every night and he gets no rest.

I was living in L.A. during the O.J. drama.. in fact we kept tabs during the chase because we lived off of one of the freeways that he was driving on but thankfully he never made it near our neighborhood. The day the verdict came down, I immediately turned the TV off and stepped outside and remember vividly that it was complete SILENCE outside.
I just can't believe that the media is still allowing him to play his game. He should be shunned from society. No interviews. No TV blurbs. Just shut him out.

It's amazing how he can find the time to do a 2-hour chat session what with spending every waking moment looking for the real killer.
Another article I read said he had no intention of paying any of the judgment against him in the civil trial.
I'm just waiting for this particular dog to have his day.

I, too, lived in Southern CA during this time and was on the 91 when he passed on the freeway - (going to friends - oblivious to what was going on until I got here).
His trial and innocent verdict has completely destroyed our justice system in my eyes. The man's DNA was everywhere - no other evidence was needed.
Interesting too how the three close friends he did have - all have now said they do believe he did it. How he can live in his skin is beyond me.
But we are all too blame as how many of us really do sit on juries when asked to - I know prior to that I always had my work get me out of duty - but now I go whenever asked.
The saddest part of all is that Nicole's two beautiful children are now living with the PIG that killed their mother. If you have seen recent pictures you will see the children resemble nothing of what they looked like when they were with their mother. He not only destroyed his ex-wife's life but his two children's as well.
He also has not gone back into 'the community' that was so eager to get him off.
He is the lowest human on earth and I do believe what comes around goes around and I hope I am alive to see it.

I've never seen anyone with more gall then this guy has. I wonder what his kids think about this newest round of publicity. I've always wondered if they think he's innocent.

I don't think this man has a conscience. I think what is bugging him is not Nicole's death but the death of O.J. "The Legend".
He went from being revered to being thought of as scum. He was a kid from the projects that rose to become a sports "Legend". He had it all, fame , money , respect.
I bet in his twisted little murderous mind he believes it is really all her fault.

I'd like to think you're right, jameso, but I think tegan has a better fix on Mr. S.
Anyone who could brutally murder someone in cold blood and then sit through his own trial without writhing in guilt (not "shame," which is what one feels when one falls from grace with society, rather than when a person KNOWS he has done wrong) has no "conscience" as we know it. In his mind, Nicole deserved every beating he gave her (she "made him do it" , and "made" her unknown (!) killer murder her. In Mr. Simpson's mind, even if he indeed did hold the knife, he is not guilty of anything.
In a weird way, his verdict may have actually HELPED the justice system. The verdict - and the conduct of the jury in delivering it - was so ludicrous it pointed out just how shameful it is NOT to take one's responsibilities as a juror seriously - and I mean not "sending a message" but deciding a case on the evidence "without fear or favor," as they say in Vermont.

HCQ - Respectfully, I disagree that the trial helped the justice system, as you say, but rather showed (me anyway) that being able to afford the best lawyers can get one off. If that had been some poor man, who didn't have the money and fame OJ did, he'd be rotting in jail.
I do agree however with the points you and tegan have made in regards to OJ not having a conscience.

It was the prosecution that messed up this case, not the jury. They (the jury) were bound by the constraints of the law...and the prosecution dropped the ball in proving their case.

This trial showed us that there indeed is a difference between "Not Guilty" and "Innocent."

The all-time low of that trial, IMO, was when he "tried on" the glove. HA! Watching it, I was struck by how obvious it was that he had his fingers spread & stiffened! Try putting on your own gloves this way--you'll get the same "result" her did. If I'd been the prosecutor, I'd have found a man somewhere in the courtroom whose hand matched Simpson's for size and had that guy try on the glove...

If I were the prosecutor, before I did anything with the glove, I would've had an expert testify on how leather shrinks and stiffens after it's been wet, rather than have somebody sort of "Yeah, but" AFTER OJ pulled his "don't fit" routine.
Rarely have I seen a trial, civil or criminal, so hideously botched by the prosecution. My pig could've done a better job. And she's more personable than the prosecution, too.

O.J. makes me sick just looking at him. His eyes are weird and bugged out. I hate that stupid nervous laugh he uses when he is trying to explain his point of view. He is fat and ugly now (his personality and his looks.)
I think and pray for his kids often. Wonder about the kind of life they have living with him and their private thoughts. He says they don't discuss their mothers murder. How can they keep that inside? I hope they have someone to talk to about it. Do they see Nicoles family? I have so many questions. Not out of curiostiy but because of their well being.
I just can't imagine that they don't have questions as to his innocence. What a terrible way to have to grow up.
