Is anyone else finding AW impossibly slow to load (since yesterday) using Internet Explorer? I can only see the board using the Opera browser.

Nope - no problem for me. Threads and posts have been disappearing in the Other Online Auctions Forum faster than a speeding bullet.

I've noticed a slowdown also, not drastic but a definite slowdown. Has anyone noticed when you click on an AW link you see the browser connecting to oas-central.realmedia.com/?
It seems like this started a few days ago. Or I suddenly started noticing it a few days ago.

Still loads like molasses. I guess the Illuminati plans on phasing me out. Thank God for Swedish alternative web browsers or I couldn't be here at all!

Could your Addsubtract program be causing the problem?

Probably a weird power structure is phasing you out.

I disabled it and same thing. I think Helen might be pretty close.

Did you try disabling java james?
I think the oas link has to do with those pop-up (under) ads.

If you have a beta version of webwasher, clean it out.

I can tell you that oas-central.realmedia.com, whoever it is, has certainly been trying to lay a lot of cookies.

And for more good news, the free version of Opera has Cydoor adware.

FWIW...the oas-central.realmedia.com cookies are coming in tandem with the auctionwatch.com cookies, in the same numbers.

The oas-central.realmedia.com link was broken, and was being fetched from all AW pages. Some browsers apparently timed out quicker than others. Or maybe IE blocked something which others didn't. Dunno.

I'm not sure what this outfit is up to.
