I don't know about the UFO's.
However, I did watch the Mists of Avalon.
Pretty good show but not near as good as the book itself. But then that always seems to be the case. I guess it is because we see certain things our own way in our minds and then the movies show something else.

The local 11pm news had a story of a bunch of people (don't know how many) witnessing 16 or so bright objects in formation the other night, and they got it on video. They showed it on TV. Also a police officer witnessed it.
Tried to look it up in the Seattle Times and there is nothing about it.

OMG, I think I was watching the same story you were, sorry! Went to the link, and sounds the same duh......it WAS the same story!
and its not that I listen to Art Bell that much!

Wait until they have those anti-missle missles perfected for the star wars shield.
They may take a few shots at those UFO's to see what kinda stuff they are made of - in more ways than one! Might irritate them also....

LOL @ Leno's joke.
With this many people viewing the same thing, I wonder if the subject will just be dropped or if we'll ever know what it was or hear an explanation as to what 'it' might have been.

I liked Leno's other joke better:
It's amazing that thousands of people are stepping forward in New Jersey to say that they saw the UFO...but just have a killing on a public street in broad daylight and you can't find a single person who saw anything.

I think they (the authorities) will just let it ride. The UFO's were a concern in cold war days when they thought the public would get upset. However in the last half century they have become part of the culture and people have pretty well defined reactions that do not include public unrest.
I have seen UFO's twice Once I saw a shiny object hovering over the Goodyear Blimp hanger in Akron Ohio and after about 20 minutes it accelerated straight up out of sight. It was too small to see a shape - just a metallic reflection off a small object.
The other time I saw a radar return that went in a straight line for about 350 miles at about 5000 mph from central Pennsylvania over
lake Erie headed for Michigan. It made no deviation or changes in speed. The FAA air traffic controler I was with hailed them on the radio to humor me but said they never respond - he had seen a number of such flights from 3000 to 6000 mph. going all different directions.

Thanks for that addition, bunnicula. Guess I'm going to have to start watching his show, if only for his jokes.
gravid - Thanks for sharing your 'sightings'. I always have felt sorry for those brave souls who come forward to report these happenings (when witnessed while alone) as the public always seems to make fun of them or start insulting their intelligence.

It is easy if you don't make a bunch of unfounded speculation as to what you saw.
It was flying and you could not identify it.
Now the people who have messages beamed to them and remember being floated away for sexual experiments are another matter. I say this even though krs has told me my aluminum hat needed refurbished recently.
I guess if they get frayed the govenment rays may get in through the cracks. I only wear mine when I am using the cell phone to bounce the signel away. I figure not only do I not need it heating my brain, but why waste the power heating your head when you want it going out as signel?
I may sell directions for folding your own on eBay.
