MSNBC is reporting on a Washington Post article stating that Senate Government Affairs Committee Chairman Joe Lieberman is about to subpoena Bush cabinet agencies over their handling of environmental regulations. At issue is whether independent interests had disproportionate influence over administration decisions to abandon or otherwise modify certain Clinton policies. Additionally, there is concern as to whether there was sufficient public input(as required) into the decision-making process. Several specific environmental areas involved are arsenic levels in water, the impact of road building in national forests, and toxic waste produced by companies mining public lands.

Music to my ears...
I just heard a wonderful comment on NPR News...someone just said:
"Any jack-ass can tear down a barn... But it takes a Carpenter to build one.
This administration has been tearing down, but seems to have no clue as to how to build anything.."
It personally thought it was great...
