Just watched a British program this evening about dangerous drivers caught on tape by police cars & sentry cameras--"Police, Cameras, Action."

Can any of you from the UK clarify what they meant when they said that someone not only had to pay a fine but also had points added to their license? Is it a system in which so many points means you lose your license? If so, how many points does it take?



Just curious!

Ask a Brit.....what does the L sign hanging on their car
stands for...and watch them try to avoid the subject....
