My mom is fretting! She's been a Paul Harvey fan for eons, and tells me the guy has been off the air for more than a month. I told her I'd look for news on the internet but couldn't find anything. Are there any Paul Harvey fans out there who know if he's ill, on vacation, whatever? My mom thanks you!

Paul Harvey has a virus that attacked his vocal cords and caused them to become somewhat paralyzed. he may or may not require surgery to correct this, as his voice seems to be improving on it's own. He expects to be back on the job by fall.
Good news for your Mom.

I've been listening to Paul Harvey since I was a kid (and that's been a while!) I love listening to his "The Rest of the Story" monologues -- makes me not mind my problems so much. I pray that he will get better and continue to give hope with his words to those who suffer in this world.
