In spite of negative publicity about Mississippi, I found this article about Truth and Journalism in which courageous editors and publishers in Mississippi resisted community traditions and advertisers to support equal treatment and to expose racism.
I'm very pleased to know that you enjoyed the article, especially since you are a highly respected journalist. I hold your opinions in high esteem and read and learn from every one that you share on this board.

Thanks for sharing that link Helen.
In a world with so few heroes it's nice to read about those who were willing to use their skills to do what was right regardless of the consequences. I wish we had more of that from today's journalist.

Btw, if you've never read World War II journalist Ernie Pyles book give it a shot. It's been a while so I've forgotten a lot of it but I do remember that it was an excellent read.
