So, what's your favorite web site for casual reading? I don't remember how I found this particular site, but it is massive, and cracks me up. James Lileks is a writer for the Star-Tribune, and a book writer as well. His site has many areas, daily ponderments, scads of old ads, vintage cook books, all with a touch of wry humor. Don't miss "The Institute of Official Cheer", where, as Lileks himself quotes, "The past comes to life, so we can promptly beat it to death again".
Put his site in your favorites and spend some time there each week. You won't regret it, and you might just laugh a bit too.
