I must be.. I get an email from them every day..some times twice a day...

You must have made the mistake of buying something from them. Do that, and they target you for life.

I set up a hotmail account for my ten year old nephew. I was sure to be careful in that I didn't let them list his email in the directory, no subscriptions to all of those email magazines they offer (impose). Nothing.

Within the hour he was getting spam. I have no idea how that happened, considering he didn't enter his addy anywhere.

They probably targeted all hotmail accounts. I used to get a ton of stuff that was aimed at earthlink email addies in general--but all that stopped when I made it so all email had to be addressed to me directly, and even then, if certain words are in the title field the stuff doesn't get downloaded.

And, I am the only user of this computer.

My husband is computer illiterate...so where do they come up with these lists?
