Those of you (you know who you are) who are the considered "experts" in computers in your sphere of influence, meaning, you family and friends and friends of friends, I have a question for you.
How many times have you considered starting a business doing Tech support and Set up for newbies and the permanently (you know who you are...or perhaps you don't) clueless?
Did any of you start charging for your services? Did you change your voice mail recording to reflect your new Tech Help status?
"Hello, you have reached the voice mail of the Help for Clueless Comptuter Users (HFCCU for short)."

Yes, I'm tech support for a lot of friends. I'm also tech support for a lot of my office coworkers simply because I'm cheaper than the $100/hr service that use.
No, I don't even want to think about charging. That would entail liabilities! No. No. No.
So, if YOU start charging, will it be retroactive? If so, I owe you and ExecutiveGirl for very valuable advice you've thrown my way in the past!
Adding to your list: 6b. If you'd like to turn your homesite into a pornsite press O for the operator and you will get immediate assistance (in a very breathy voice of course).
