Hi Everyone!
I didn't know where to post this, so I put it here.
In paypal's send money services they have what's called ( Quasi - Cash ) Does anyone know what ( Quasi ) means? Looked it up in 2 dictionary's and can not find it!

quasi: seeming or seemingly, but not actually so.

So it means not really there? hmmmm

Look on your credit card agreement you'll find mention of 'quasi-cash'. Basically it means an item that is easily redeemed for cash, such as money orders, casino chips, travelers checks, etc..

Hi,

It's my understanding from talking to Paypal support, quasi-cash is a cash advance from your CC on file with them. Apparently the CC companies (Visa and MC) insist on this wording - at least that is what I was told.
