It has gotten too quiet the last two days. No big high level statements out of Washington. No frenzy from the press. I feel like someone who's kids are suddenly too quiet in the next room.
I want to know what they are busy doing....I feel like something is about to break.

Waiting for the other shoe to drop! Nerve wracking, I hope some progress is being made.

I was wondering the same thing.

I agree. I can understand them not telling us everything but it's been too quiet.

While I wouldn't panic, I do find the anthrax case to be VERY strange gravid. Thank God it can't be transmitted from person to person (according to CNN).

Where's snowy?? I'd like to hear her thoughts.

Zazzie, I know you're in western Canada.....how are people doing there? There are quite a few people here in my area that have been flying U.S. flags since the 11th. It almost makes me cry to see them all.

The hijackers trained near there. It made me wonder if perhaps they released spores either as an event or just in a training mode, but were not trained and equiped well enough to get the droplets small enough or allow for the wind etc. and just plain failed to infect the population except for the one poor fellow. It is supposed to be relatively difficult to do well.
I would think it would be easier to try ina building or subway than out in the open.
The ventilation system in a building can go bad all on it's own without contaiminating it on purpose. That's usually how you get Legionaires disease.
