Aside from this forum, not many opportunities to discuss bodily functions present themselves, with the exception of the occasional colorful expletive, which wouldn't count. Actually, I can't recall the last time I became engaged in an in-depth discussion of bodily functions with a friend or acquaintance. Surely at some times in the past I must have whiled away idle hours contemplating such intricacies, but they would seem not to have been memorable.
