Moderator! I've got my hackles up. Everyone thinks that I'm fluffy because I'm a cat person. Cats and their owners deserve respect. Afterall, we're huffy and puffy too. Catfights can be so entertaining - all that name-calling, cussing, and general bloviation before a spectacular barroom brawl. I would think that moderators would curry cat owners' favor because we keep you busy.Without our hissyfits what would you do?(Dogs just run in packs and yap at your heels. To have a good fight, you need cats!)

Enchanted I would like to see a picture of your cute kitty. I would post pictures of my cute kitties but I don't have any way to do it anymore. Woe is me.
Saabsister, I have cats and dogs...where exactly do I fit into this whole scenario? I am feeling discriminated against.

I'm glad that you brought up that point, saabsister. I've heard the rumors about preferential treatment too, which were widely circulated in email groups. But there's absolutely no truth to those stories.
The moderator's oath requires strict pet neutrality and I've always made that a cornerstone of my moderating philosophy. I feel exactly the same way about all camps in the pet threads.
(That is kind of a tacky little fish up there, though, isn't it.)

Rawbunzel, you could be either one depending on your mood. You could be laid-back and just go with the group (more dog-like) or you could be uppity, independent, and vain like a cat.

Rawbunzel, Muffin lives outside most of the time and getting her to stay still for a picture is almost impossible. Kind of like her owner 
I'll try though tomorrow to get a picture of her.

It's not you, enchanted, it's the cursed pet threads. They're always trouble. The underlying competition is cutthroat with the implied superiority of each posting.
saabsister, please have the decency to demand that this thread be locked before there's a flatout board war. We all know very well that it's only a matter of time until everybody takes sides and starts saying what they really think about everybody else's pets.
