Have you seen it? I just saw it. It's very disturbing, bone-chilling. I'm almost as upset after watching it as I was on September 11th.

I haven't seen it enchanted. Last I heard, was they weren't going to show it.... Did you see it on MSNBC or CNN?
I heard he said something like he wanted his son to kill him. Did he say that?
He's turning out to be a Jim Jones type character. Instead of being the noble leader he intended, he's turned out to be a pathetic coward. Guess his "God" turned out to be one of those false ones.

From the little I have seen of it so far I can't figure out how he could be termed "charismatic". He is so not that. He is no more than a cult leader, preying on the unfortunates in his own religion. But Kraftdinner, I can't agree that his God is false. He,BinLaden, is a false prophet for Islam. That's all. I am sure that his God is just as real as the Christian one. In fact, I am pretty sure it's the same one.
I can't help but wonder why his followers haven't noticed that Allah has not been helping them in Afghanistan? They do not seem to be "winning" there to me.
It's bad if your enemy is quick. It's worse if he is patient.

"I can't help but wonder why his followers haven't noticed that Allah has not been helping them in Afghanistan? They do not seem to be "winning" there to me."
For just this reason rawbunzel.
The God he worships approves and promotes his beliefs, making his God false.

Hi Krafty, I could agree with that if I believed there was more than one God.Also if I believed that God picks sides. I believe that all people are worshiping the same being albeit in different manners. The problem with Osama is that he really doesn't believe in Allah at all. He belives in Osama.Too bad his followers can't see him for what he is.

I think now would be a good time to reach out to Osama and try and understand his anger and have a meaningful dialog rather than act with force like we've been doing.

LOL uaru, I don't think so. Not me anyway.
Kraftdinner, I saw it on CNN, they played it in it's entirety. I didn't see the first part but I don't think he said anything about killing himself, that's another tape.
In this tape he was gloating over the 'success' he achieved in blowing up the WTC towers and the Pentagon. It was very strange and to me quite evil. They were chuckling about it.
They should be showing bits and pieces of it all through out the day and tonight on the various news channels with a translation.
It seemed that Osama was almost an object of worship for the Muslim man who had come to visit him with reports of the Sheikhs in Saudi Arabia and the preaching that they had done to the joyous members of their mosques at the time of the September 11th attack.
Also it seemed from the tape that they feel a defeat in Afghanistan at the hands of the US is Allah's will, and still beneficial for Allah's cause, because it will spur a further war against America and the non-believers. That was my quick take on one review of the tape.

That camel looks like his mouth hurts.
The trouble is that in this day and age where tapes like that can be faked it will be hard to sell it. We do have Hollywood capabilities here so it isn't really so far fetched. However, that said, I think it is real. Just my feeling.

BTW, I haven't been here this week so, Happy Belated Birthday!

I just saw part of it on CNN. What a joke! They're sitting around on pillows, complimenting each other and making up stories about how supportive everyone is. I think they sit around and shoot up all day long. It sure would explain alot of things.

Hi Rawbunzel, Ken had a birthday.
Oh, and what do you think about so many people having dreams about it? OBL said he had to tell someone not to talk about the dream anymore because then it would get out about what was going to happen. What a bunch of nuts!

Really? How did I miss that! Happy Belated Birthday, KRS.
I was thinking about all the dreaming about it too. I read a lot of stories about school children and others right here in the USA having dreams of a plane crashing into a tall building before it happened. I think it is all part the greater universal consciousness that some people dip into when there is some huge thing in the "air" so to speak. Like the band that had a CD cover depicting a plane in a fire ball crashed into the twintowers at almost the exact spot the plane really hit. They had had that in the works for a long time before 9-11. I don't think it was omens from Allah.

LOL, reading that thread, that's why the 12th stuck in my mind. Rawbunzel mine was the 11th so I still thought his was the 12th. It's all Beth's fault!
When you're as old as krs and me your memory fails. My mom even said I was a year older than I really am. She thinks we're about the same age.
