OK, now that another year is behind us, it's time for you to list your best & worst.
Who's the best female & male actors? Who are the worst? Songs too. What's the all-time worst, and the all time best for you?

Hi KD! My all time favorite song is Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin. Worst song varies for me, right now it is Oops I Did It Again by Britney Spears.

Best movie: Memento. Quills was second. Guy Pearce in Memento is the best actor of the year, IMHO.

Another Memento fan! I loved that movie.
To me Lord of the Rings is hands down the best movie I've seen all year though.

enchanted, I haven't seen LOTR yet, but it's on my list. Memento was original in the story, and I really enjoyed the backwards time frame. The performances were excellent.
Saabsister, I haven't even heard of Amelie? Who's in it and what's it about?

Biggest Disappointment: remake of Planet of the Apes ( they cast who? as the star that we'd all compare to Charlton Heston's character? )
Worst Song: any of them that took great sounds and put lyrics to them that suggest being cruel, hateful and disrespectful as the only way to be.

snowyegret,Amelie only played at the arthouse theaters around here. It's French and subtitled. It's a nice movie that'll leave you smiling, but it's not fluff. Here's the Washington Post review.

Virakech, lol. I just saw Planet if the Apes last week, and can't remember who was in it.
Saabsister, I'll look for Amelie. It sounds good (and any film set in Paris has something going for it).

Come on! Doesn't anyone want to bash Steven Segal? I will then. He's a hopeless blockhead that wears stupid clothes. He whispers when he talks so nobody can hear how stupid the stuff he says is. OK, I'm done.

The only movie I saw last year was Shrek. I was actually at a bar across the plaza for most of it.
The only song I enjoyed listening to last year was Hey, Mambo!
I watch plenty of old videos and listen to music that was popular when I was growing up. None of the stars/musicians/celebrities of today mean anything to me.
