I've been trying to figure out the best way to get rid of the books I can't list on Amazon Marketplace of Half.com. Feebay isn't the best because of having to constantly relist & their fees constantly going up & many of my books are inexpensive, so after a couple of listings, it's costing me more than I'll get. ABE.com costs too much for the number of books I have, but it's getting closer to how I want to do it--stick them some place where they'll stay for a while without constant attention from me.
I wondered about offline methods, too. I tried putting them in my space in a multi-dealer antique shop, but books don't sell that well there. I wondered about renting space at a big used book shop. I even wondered about simply giving them away because I get enough money from the Amazon sales to already give me a profit over the purchase cost of the lot of books.
I'd like to know what others think, what others do, what other sites there are & how sales on them are.
(Shhh, I'm reading!)
Actually, 8-) looks more like me--glasses.

The only sites I'm familiar with selling on are eBay and half.com, though I've bought through Abe Books (or was it Alibris?). That type of site seems best suited to higher-value antiquarian-type books.
If they're not selling well anywhere and if their value is lower than the effort you've put into marketing them, maybe donating them and taking the tax writeoff would be the best return for the least effort.

I have been thinking about using Amazon's storefront. I've got to do something. They used to sell so well on Ebay but lately I haven't had much luck.
