Cheryl signing in. Just sitting in the office enjoying a Wendy's Mandarin Chicken Salad with an extra bag of Extra Crispy Noodles! Yes, some days I'm tired of political threads but, I've learned more from this board than all newspapers and news programs combined. And, I'll bet there is more truth on this board regarding the politics of the day!

If you're tired of political threads, start another thread, Gold Magnet. Don't expect anyone to change their preferences just because you are too lazy to start your own discussion.

I do read some of the political threads and am interested in the different viewpoints and I also follow some of the links that are posted. Like Cheryl says, it's a great place to learn.
I agree with Helen, everyone is free to start any topic they choose. And they are just as free to click on or join any topic that is already in progress.
When Jack started his longest thread last year in the Outlook it was only one little line on the page but I was amazed that some people had to click on it over and over again and then read and express their outrage. It was like they had no self-control and as if they had to click. It was rather amusing, especially when they took it so seriously.
