Have you ever had a psychic reading? had your palm read? Tarot cards read? a tea-leaf reading? attended a seance? Why do people believe?

Beats me Maggie. I always think self-centered people tend to go for that stuff because they love hearing about themselves.

P.S. I think Twelve's into all that stuff.

I think it's time to go to the internet mind reader and find out for yourself.

I have had two friends in my life that were big into the occult and that type of "counter-culture". One insisted that you should never in any activity that predicts your future. The school of thought is that you may misinterpret occurances in your life and allow the predictions made earlier to wrongly influence the decisions and directions you take. I always found that completely logical so when I met my other friend who swore by her psychic and drug me along with her insisting that I get a reading I only let her talk about occurances in the past. Scary thing was that she absolutely nailed two very specific occurances in my past down to event and time period. Not the vague references but rather complete declarative statements about things there was no way she could have known.

I would not say that I believe. Maybe I just doubt a little less than I used to.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

To be fair, I believe that Twelvepole is into all that stuff and he is psychic, in fact he has come up with a pretty good prediction time and again. BUSH WILL WIN RE-ELECTION.

twelve says,

more than religious reasons to visit

So what did you do there, have a medical treatment? Did the dope drill a hole in your cranium to allow the evil spirits out?
