1) The NAVY does not have troops, The Marines do and so does the ARMY. (Unless he is refering to Rassman falling off his boat when kerry ran away downriver)
2) kerry never had any of his "crew members" KIA
3) The only combat kerry ever saw was when he jumped off his boat to become a war criminal by killing a wounded VC.

America saw John Kerry challenge the Bush record of failure this evening. John Kerry left no doubt as to his qualification to be the next president. Bush's endless harping that it a tough job does not excuse four years of a failed presidency.

Twelve apparently kerry doesn't know that HE cannot increase the size of America's military. (Unless he wants to serve only 12 weeks). Only the US Congress can do that.

Twelve - considering that even the Fox commentators tonight acknowledge that Kerry was much stronger and came out on top tonight, I am surprised that you are encouraging him to do even better on the domestic policy debate. I thought you supported Bush.

In last nights debate kerry just HAS to mention his service....as he does in all his speeches. paraphrasing here - I served/protected my country then and I'll do it again.
Yea...but had he said I served my country for 14 weeks...would have sounded MUCH different.

Ha! OOOOOOHHH linda found one teeny tiny spot to attack! But don't forget the color of Theresa's dress...a strategic point in who to vote for!
linda Kerry Won
Get over it!
Afterall, the bought and paid for Republican Supreme Court judges are still in place(I think) so bush has a good chance of being appointed again even if Kerry gets enough votes for a landslide.
So rest easy, the war will continue, killing and torturing children, the richest people(NOT YOU) will get more huge tax breaks, the environment will get worse and worse, more Americans will slide into poverty (even with 2-3 jobs).

Kerry can be very proud of his heroic service and it provides a great contrast to the military deserter Bush.
What could Bush brag about ? Protecting the Gulf of Mexico ? Deserting ? Helping out with a senate campaign while his peers were fighting and dying in Vietnam ?
You can slander Kerry's service all you want, but at least he was there, Bush was not.

When the controversy over Kerry's record first came out I searched and found several stories on other veterans that only served a very short period of time and also received a Silver Star and Purple Hearts, one was a pilot. Now with all the hoopla about Kerry's service it's difficult for me to find those stories again. It is sad that anyone diminishes a man's record of valor by length of service.

Yup, people like Bear and others who spread lies about Kerry's heroic service are a slap in the face for all combat veterans.
They mar the medals of all combat veterans.
And then they have the nerve to support a deserter !!!

I find it pretty ironic that these neocons like Linda, Bear, and Twelve find it so easy to attack Kerry who served in the line of fire, and at the same time defend someone who ducked serving time in Vietnam and couldn't even finish his service to America. Your shallow arguments over Kerry's service proves once again that you have nothing to attack Kerry with. You know the truth. You know Kerry served in the line of fire, and you simply wish to cover up Bush's lack of service by attacking another man's service to America.
You neocons love to attack a man's service to his country, yet you attack people who speak out against GW's policies. It wasn't Kerry who avoided serving in Vietnam. It was GW. You're nothing but a bunch of neocon hypocrites.

I hope ALL honor guards REFUSE military burial services for all the Swift Boat Liars Club.
They don't deserve military honors. I think Congress should vote to bar them from Arlington Cemetary.
Could you imagine a brave loved one buried next to one of these rats who tarnished the service records of all Purple Heart recipients and all combat veterans ?

Since the POW/MIA families ad won't be shown only in a small number of states...I'd appreciate someone making me aware when it is shown.
We'll see how many American's find kerry such a hero when they hear what these families have to say about how their loved ones were treated by him. Won't be nice hearing kerry's actions caused MORE suffering to them. Nope....no hero in their eyes. Nor mine.
read their own words...click on the links....see a different view/side of how kerry's actions hurt those who fought for our country.
As for the success of Kerry's anti-democracy protests and his leadership of the VVAW and association with Fonda's Winter Soldier Investigation, General Vo Nguyen Giap, Vietnam's most decorated military leader, wrote in retrospect that if not for the disunity created by such stateside protesters, Hanoi would have ultimately surrendered.

The Swift Vets have yet to be proven wrong about any of the statements they have brought against kerry.
To name two kerry has acknowledged he lied about are:
First Purple heart
Christmas 1968 in Cambodia
