Just some old movie star losers. Most are dead so find something else to crow about. Atheists in my book are losers L L L L L
No wonder you wish death upon Teri. How can you stick by her Catholic husband is beyond me since you don't believe in religion.
No wonder you are so mad all the time as you have nothing to look forward to. You seem to be bitching at everything and everyone except your connected at the hip friend maggie. Now both of you can come at me and have fun. Go ahead I can take it but evidently you can't.
Now it just goes to show everyone on this board you are an attention getter. Whopee another thread started by crowfarm.

LIbra - wow did that come across as ignorant and intolerant.
Thomas Edison... not an actor, not a loser.
Susan B Anthony... not an actor, not a loser.
Bill Gates... not an actor... not a loser
Frank Lloyd Wright... not an actor... not a loser
Larry Ellison... ditto
Warren Buffet...ditto
Arthur C Clark...ditto
Richard Dawkins....ditto
etc etc etc
I always find it interesting that so many that claim to bask in the glory of god are so quick to make snap judgements of others who are not exactly like them.
I'm willing to bet that you did not actually read the names on the list of consider what their accomplishments in life have been before you rushed to judgement based soley on their declared beliefs regarding religion.
~~~ • ~~~ • ~~~ • ~~~ • ~~~
If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?
--------------------------------------------
Smartass comments:
Jesse Ventura and Barry Manilow? I'm nearly convinced. Maybe atheism is the way to go! If it's good enough for Jess the Body- oh wait- he's an idiot.
Larry Flynt, an atheist? Imagine that. I can certainly see why people would want to emulate HIM- He's such a well adjusted and moral guy!
--------------------------------------------
Serious Response:
I read the list. The entire list. Some very important and influential people are on the list.
And you know what? Once they die (or when they died if already the case) they won't be important or influential anymore. Their works here on Earth may live on, but they won't.
Apparently none of these "geniuses" had any real concept of planning ahead for the REAL long-term.
I don't know about the rest of you guys but I plan on living forever. Certainly not in this worthless body, but I am planning long-term.
And fenix, Libra may yet be proven to be right.
Atheists may not be losers right now. Ask again in 100 years whether they came out as losers. We just have no real way of knowing yet, since we only see the early part of the game.
OK children it's time for slice 'n' dice !
LalalandLibra burbles, ""Just some old movie star losers. Most are dead so find something else to crow about."""
#1.Then why do YOU keep bring up Madalyn Murray O'Hair ? She's dead, too, doofus.
"""Atheists in my book are losers L L L L L""""
#2. Ya, Bill Gates is a loser. Ted Turner is a loser. Carl Sagan a loser. Walt Disney THAT loser.Thomas Edison a loser....pretty stupid response but considering libra's total lack of education and intellectual curiosity , not surprising.
""""No wonder you wish death upon Teri. How can you stick by her Catholic husband is beyond me since you don't believe in religion."""""
#3. Well, it's because I'm not a narrow minded religious bigot like you.
""""No wonder you are so mad all the time as you have nothing to look forward to."""
#4. Another of the usual lies from libra. You couldn't possibly know if I was mad or not. As for something to look forward to I have no idea what you mean unless you're talking about the mythical heaven and you can look forward to it all you want.....doesn't make it real.
"""You seem to be bitching at everything and everyone except your connected at the hip friend maggie.""""
#5. Who's bitching ???? I just rip holes in your ignorant posts. Wanna see bitching...read your "poor me" posts.
"""Now both of you can come at me and have fun. Go ahead I can take it but evidently you can't. """
#6 LIBRA, you keep saying I can't take it......WHAT can't I take? I just take it and shove it right back and you can't handle that.
"""Now it just goes to show everyone on this board you are an attention getter. Whopee another thread started by crowfarm.""""
#7 Again, neither you nor your sister have ever explained why someone including yourselves would ever bother to post if they didn't expect a response ?
This is the most stupid illogical thing you two have ever come up with.! When YOU post do you hope no one responds...then, you stupid old git, why do you post ?
And what does whopeed got to do with any of this ...who cares who peed.
OH, you mean whoopee!
You couldn't possibly know if I was mad or not.
ROFLMHO.... right....but YOU KNOW so much about others thoughts....feelings...etc. But those who read your 'hatefilled' posts would NEVER see you as an angry person. ROFLMHO....right....lol
And I don't think all those on your list have EVER said they were atheists. I know Steven Allen wasn't. He was a liberal and one who in his later years opposed organized religion, but never said he didn't believe in God or a higher power.
I'd bet others on your list are the same way - not self-pronounced atheists. You chide others about all their copy and pastes...then you do the same - only a list with some errors.
Yes, replay, he died on October 30, 2000 at the age of 78 from what they said was a heart attack.
I also challenge crowfarms list with Susan B. Anthony as an atheist. She wasn't either.
Tell you what yellowstone...I'm beginning to believe that's JUST how ol' crow made his/her list up....if someone told a joke...the sjatheists.com group decided to add them to their list.
Checked on a few on cf's list. Irving Berlin was not an atheist. Bill Gates is not an atheist...
I think someone is VERY confused and also might not be able to comprehend the difference between being an agnostic and an atheist. That's sure how it looks after pulling up several on that list. Which we don't get to know where it came from.
Libra - He also was an accomplished musical composer.
My husband and I watched him as often as we could. Course that was back in the old days when entertainers weren't pushing their politics on everyone....they just entertained us.
-------------------
Besides there being a difference between an atheist, agnostic, humanist, etc. some who are listed above just opposed organized religion....it's not that they didn't believe in God or some 'creator' of sorts.
I, for one, would sure like to see crowfarm offer PROOF that all those on her/his list are/were atheists.
I doubt we'll see that happen though. Looks to me like cf just 'grabbed a list' from somewhere and posted it. Without verifing the info for him/herself.
