You know - some people are just plain evil. People should warn you clearly and explicitly regarding impending doom....not to mention snow storms and airport closures. It just doesn not pay to be nice!

What the hell is she talking about you ask? Flew out to Colorado to help the folks with more packing and such and now I'm stuck here til Wednesday thanks to the snow storm. Someone should have warned me. I knew there was a reason I stayed to the south.

Oh yeah... Two people here with bad backs, 1 broken snow blower and 18-24" of wet heavy snow in the drive... They better hope the sun comes out soon cause I ain't shovelin

Way back when I was in high school, my brother in law would call me and ask if I wanted to go fishing the comming weekend.

I replied, sure, what did he need help working on at the beach house.

The Fenix School of Snow Removal into action and most of the problem is now dealt with.... even if I am still stuck here.

Drove the truck up and down the drive packing most of the snow down then let the sun take over... Sure the damn thing is going to be a solid sheet of ice tomorrow once it all refreezes tonight but then it's supposed to be in the high 50's tomorrow so all will be clear and I won't be needing the family back surgeon anytime soon. (I'm the only member of the family with no fused vertebrae and I fully intend to keep it that way)

Classic - be nice or I'm going to wish a natural disaster on you... or maybe just a cozy weekend in a deserted cabin with Crow.

Darn lousy wheather, someone should do something about it. How do they expect us to get any work done when it's like this.

No kids came around offering to shovel?

Damn, I used to make a nice bundle in the winter.

Washington - I don't think there are many kids in this neighborhood. I didn't really think of it til you asked but I don't think I have seen any when I am out here. There must be some since there is a school bus stop down the street but that's all lil munchkins and they don't count.

I got out of dealing with the driveway for the most part but still ended up having to shovel off the top deck. I hate snow. I love the smell of snow the night before it starts falling but the snow itself should limit itself to falling only on ski slopes and reservoirs.
