why put the asterisks there in the first place..it confuses people.

Cause otherwise, Vendio will think he's trying to post a picture and not print the {url} part all.
The only way *I* could get that previous line to print was to use the wrong kind of braces... which is more confusing?

Classic, I've always thought the asterisks confuses people too. (I remember it did me.)The way helen did it is better. Just remove the $ sign.
