Klumpe dolls are quite collectible, Krafty..
they are not a child's play toy..I'd give this to my doctor for Christmas!

Krafty..I think I told you that I too collect antique dolls.. well at one time, my house was wall to wall dolls and some I have to admit were really creepy..you know the old German ones with the bugged out eyes and weird teeth.. any way.. my youngest daughter would always complain whenever she came home for a visit.. said the dolls creeps her out big time.. said their eyes were staring out from every nook and cranny...

so I bought the biggest Chucky doll I could find and placed it on her bedside table ready for her next visit... I never said a word.. and neither did she...LOL.. I just heard her bedroom door open and something being flung down the hall and the door closed again... yep..it was old Chucky...hee hee..

You sound like a cool mom, Maggie!

Maggie, I've got a few Roldan's. That's why I was searching. I've just never seen anything like that one before! So, do you still collect dolls? I know what you mean about the dolls with teeth. I used to have a wooden Asian doll with separate teeth on the top & bottom. It looked like it had rabies.

Krafty.. I still collect but I've become a lot more selective..and go for quality rather than quantity..these days.
I have several Shirley Temple dolls from the 30's, and other composition mama dolls.. as well as some French and German Bisque... then there is my huge collection of Raikes Bears...not to mention my Katherine collectibles...and of course my doll houses all fully furnished...only 3 of them.. LOL..
My house is one big toy store!

I don't collect dolls, but my mother does. They're everywhere. She did give me a Princess Di doll. It's large and in a red gown. I have two Gene dolls (Blue Goddess and Bird of Paradise) and an old French boudoir doll that's kind of creepy. My mother even has her old story book dolls from the 1930's or 40's and her old doll house furniture which is all bakelite.
