Grrrrrrr.... had to get up extra early this a.m. (not a morning person) - this after spending forever trying to fix auctions that wouldn't launch last night. My trash has been picked up at the street except for the huge amount that a neighborhood dog strewn around
- phone is ringing - daughters bosses boss is chewing her out for leaving keys where her boss told her too - threatening to fire her - she's angry and whining and nervous cause she has a final exam this a.m. - son's first day at new school - can't find THE pair of shoes he really, really wanted to wear today - he's nervous and whiney - husband called - went to a mandatory meeting this a.m. - had to leave two hours early to get there (5 a.m.) - got there - meeting cancelled - someone forgot to tell him - I get an email from one of last nights high bidders - her words, "I guess you think I'm a fool for paying this much, I could have got it somewhere else cheaper - I'm sending your damned money...

Mybidness, can you go back to bed for just a little while? And think of five good things to counteract the bad. If they are a bit humorous, so much the better.
Then ask yourself the three questions that define a crisis:
- Is anybody dead or in the emergency room?
- Is anyone bleeding?
- Will you even remember this day five years from now?
If the answer to all three is NO, then it isn't a crisis, and you can go on with your life in a better humor.

ps: After struggling with eBay for hours last night, I told my husband I now have a new phrase. On days when I get nothing done, I'm not goofing off - I'm "experiencing limited functionality."
Sorry about your morning. I remember going through some like that. Also hate getting up early, ruins my whole day.
I do have good news. The older you get the better class reunions get. Everyone has the same body and hair or lack thereof. If they are thin they have more wrinkles so we all evened out and had a very good visit. LOL!
Good luck to your son at his new school and to your daughter with her boss.
